Rebus himself is descended from Referats, who was known as the biggest and most solid Thoroughbred stallion in Latvia.

Rampuns shares his lineage with Rusty, who was Ulla Salzgeber's Dressage mount on which she won Gold at the Sydney Olympics in 2000 and Silver medals in the Athens Olympics in 2004.
